A party of adventurers consisting of Goblin Ramsay, Lasair Snagairean, and Ballius Dedicatus are unexpectedly thrown into the plane of Innistrad by Sister Gararele, the Grand Archmage in Phandelin. They meet Sir Delandel Hyth who takes them to a nearby village that becomes their haven. The party takes on various quests that uncover mysteries and trauma in Innistrad, including a trip to the plane of Zendikar with Nahiri to investigate why the Eldrazi's bindings have momentarily loosened. They encounter mutated humans infected with a black ooze-like substance called BOOBS and fight their way through a dungeon before returning to Innistrad to talk to Sister Queeny. She tells them about unusual events that may be linked to a vampire named Sorin Markov, and the party travels to Markov Manor, encountering suicide puppets and vampire encased in granite along the way. Finally, the party proceeded to the innermost section of Tharaben only to see a large silvery crytolith and a single albino angel who seemed unaffected and unaware of the events that had occurred so far. After the party had moved closer and interacted with the central crytolith known as the Helvault, the albino angel revealed her name was Avacyn and she had once been imprisoned within the Helvault. She recalls to the party her time within the Helvault and the one friend that had kept her company during her time in the silver prison. She then told the party of her friend affecting the minds of those Avacyn was sworn to protect in hopes that Avacyn would notice and play with her after they both were released from their imprisonment. As Avacyn was recounting her stories, the party could see the angel’s madness building up before them and without notice she had lunged at the party causing a battle to ensue. Amidst the battle, Sorin appeared and tries to calm Avacyn down revealing to Avacyn and the party that he created Avacyn and that he could rectify the situation. As the battle continued, Avacyn no longer saw Sorin as her creator, bypassing the safety measures Sorin had installed in Avacyn. Knowing she was beyond all hope, Sorin had to put Innistrad’s protector and his creation down which released Avacyn from her madness long enough for her to apologise to her creator for the damage she had caused to his world. Soon after Avacyn’s death, the true form of an Eldrazi Titan emerges from the horizon, a large purple mushroom-like being with numerous tendrils acting as legs and a single purple light radiating from the centre where an eye would naturally be frantically searching of her now deceased friend. Her appearance attracted the whole party’s attention as they remembered the name of the titan from the entries in Jenrik’s Journal, Emrakul. The party then looked back to where the fallen angel and Sorin should’ve been only to see Sorin holding Avacyn in his arms and planeswalking away. Party sees a giant mushroom and tentacles in the distance, which then causes mayhem.
Session 1: The tentacle monster in the distance looks like the
right size that it could sit on the Helvault. Party contemplates
jumping off the balcony, but walks down and gets back to Outer
Tharaben. Monster is in the distance, in the direction of the
Drownyard temple – we will go the other way. Party meets a group of
Cathars at the second gate; guards protecting a building. Mutated
boobmans have become more mutated since Emrakul’s emergence. One of
the guards is seemingly converted, wanting the party to help his
children inside the building. The guards had previously threatened
the party, so they were left to die, despite the guilt tripping.
Eventually succumbing to the peer pressure, William helps the kids
with his big strength / gun-show. The guards are persuaded and runs
away, with the mutated humans run with them, but one is left
advancing on the house. Distant crunching of little boy’s bones. A
grandma is chasing after the daughter of one of the guards, and
despite momentary confusion and attacks from the party, she can’t be
stopped until Dochas uses Fireball, where she just dies. The kid
(Gnot My-Kid Guard) keeps running, and the party continue running to
the first gate.
Session 2: At the first gate, the party see more mutated humans,
that get mistaken for trash bags and homeless people. The party
continues walking, sees some werewolves. Can see that there’s some
kind of conflict happening. The party dodges it and sees more
rubbish bags, with movement behind the like ribbons. Party questions
where the people are as opposed to the mutants – and where are all
the pets? See some tails behind the piles, and werewolves are
discovered – one is taken out by William and Dochas. Elbrus takes
the dead werewolf’s souls. The remaining three go into pack tactics
and are taken out of circulation systematically. During the fight,
Balliuus laments that his patron is talking to him and may want
something from him that he might not be able to repay. Dochas loots
the werewolf, gets a necklace with jewels, see immediate signs of
boobification. More werewolves are found and annihilated to recover
more necklaces. See some mutated vampires and a woman, Gnot
“Nahiri”.
Session 3: The party contemplates what to do and decides that
running away is best. Ballius is spontaneously replaced by Dhanytt,
a scared kobold. Dochas and Dhanytt scream at each other. Dhanytt is
very confused by everything and the tentacles, and just wants to go
home. Dochas explains the tentacles and Sister Giraele. None of this
is by choice for anyone. Dhanytt explains that the Raven Queen
swapped Balliuus and Dhanytt. Mutated vampires start doing battle
with the lieutenants. Talking to a mutating man called John Cena,
the party see taht e is asking for help. He wants to die, and
attempts to grab Dhanytt with tentacles he can't control, but fails.
Dhanytt steps back and Dochas and William hit the zombo. Dhanytt
uses Balliuus's dagger to stab the zombo and kill him, making a
mess. Dochas explains that the party is either getting out of here
traumatised, or not getting out at all. William helps Dhanytt tidy
up the blade afterwards. The party talks to Gnot Gnahiri and the guy
she's with, there is a camp for refugees that the party goes to for
a rest. The party does the introductions in the camp to let Dhanytt
feel more safe. Going to see the granddaughter of a significant
figure in the church, and the refugee camp is in a crypt with
artifacts nearby. Thalia defected from the church because her
grandfather posthumously warned her to prepare for bad things.
Dhanytt is scared, but getting more confident over time. William's
pendant is of Avacyn, the others are not (unknown). They rest.
Session 4: Thalia uses an apple metaphor to say that half the
world looks normal, and the other half is rotten, and her
grandfather told her to run away because the world was broken.
Dhanytt looks at his items. Thalia’s uncle is dead. Talking to Odric
reveals that the pendants are made by them and it costs his ghost
friend’s energy to do so. Thalia’s pendant is an Omega sign and the
party’s pendants are more ‘feral’. The ghost mentions there are
other sources that have supernatural powers and that one of these
sources is protecting the party from the tentacle monster. The ghost
relays rumours that it was called an Angel of some sort. But nobody
was keen on deciphering the name – Emmra-Mary, or something. Steig
gets a pendant from Odric that matches his pendant, rather than the
same as Dochas and Dhanytt. Steig questions the ghost and the ghost
gets annoyed at him talking about the afterlife, so Steig (now
called D’William) goes to cower with Dhanytt. Dhanytt practices
social interaction on Alfred Mauer – but only because D’William told
him to, and frequently refers to D’William for pointers as Alfred
doesn’t follow the pre-set script. Without introducing himself,
Alfred realises that Dhanytt has inherited Balliuus’
responsibilities and possessions. Twins under his protection had
been kidnapped by the Stromquirks and he wanted Balliuus’ help. They
were the heirs of the Mauer lineage. They had an informant from
outside who allowed the heirs to be kidnapped. Alfred knows the last
known base of operation. Vampires becoming more like sea creatures,
now live closer to the sea rather than Stromkirk manor. Dhanytt
discloses he also has the Voldaren and Markov signets.
Session 5: Dochas jokes with the Archmage and figures out that
the refugees want to investigate the nearby village where there are
apparently humans that may need to be saved. The party questions
whether this is the same place as where the two humans were
previously seen. They head to Stromkirk manor to save Alexei and
Alexa, on the quest from Alfred. Party bumps into an aggressive rat,
and laments that they’ve only been here a couple of weeks. The rat
attacks Alfred, who is saved by D’William, and the party runs. They
eventually meet K’John Cena III Stromkirk, who is no longer under
the protection of his God – his own fault. He’s been disowned, but
restoring honour. He is also a vampire, so can resist. D’William
attempts to say that Dhanytt can run the Stromkirk clan. Dhanytt
shows off the signets collected so far. The party head to Hevangul.
They discuss that the Stromkirks have a curse where they become
sea-dwelling, and they want to convert the two Mauer girls to make
them part of the family. There is a conflict for ownership of the
clan, and the party squares up against current leader Runo and two
lackeys.
Session 6: Runo makes a speech that Dochas tries to interrupt
with a fireball, but the speech isn’t stopped, and Runo taunts the
party that their sacrifice will be in vain. Dochas vows to remember
Steig as the ‘guy who wore the wings’. Can still see the silhouette
of the big mushroom in the distance. Very low range of sight, very
hazy. Dhanytt manifests a psychic blade. Runo mutters about Kralmar.
Dhanytt devours the soul of one of the Stromkirk minions, and Dochas
deals magic damage to Runo. Dhanytt deals with the Stromkirk minion
that was assailing Dochas. Runo talks about how his brother has been
killed and then phases out, and transforms into Krothuss. Dochas
continues pelting the newly formed Krothuss, while Dhanytt deals
with the other Stromkirk minion. Runo talks some shit about that
there are more scary monsters, and pleads with his God Kralmar
again. Steig and Dhanytt manage to subdue Krothuss. Dhanytt now has
tokens for the Markov, Mauer, Voldaren and Stromkirk families now.
The krakens are fleeing towards the mushroom, and Alexei and Alexa
are saved by the party again. They remember Balliuus as Bal-daddy.
The party has sashimi made from the corpses. Alfred gives Dhanytt
his thanks, says he lived up to Balliuus’ reputation. The party
begins to notice that some of the people the party bumps into are
introduced with one name and the name sometimes changes to be some
variant of John Cena; in a ‘previous life’ K’John Cena III Stromkirk
was called Kasper.
Session 7: At the beach of Hevangul, we met Runo and his two
brothers, as well as K'John Cena III. John was third in line and
thought it was a win-win situation. The Stromkirks were about to
convert Alexei and Alexa and being taken care of by Alfred. The
party killed Runo, who turned into his deep-sea form Kronthuss, they
worshipped Kralmar, the old God. After his death, the followers
returned into the sea. Alfred needs to check up on the vampires that
have not been affected by Emrakul. Party travels back to Drunel.
They contemplate dealing with Emrakul, which the party can see
moving, even from that distance. Dochas is passive-aggressive to
Dhanyttt who hides behind D’William. Dochas speaks to Archmage
Rembert instead of Dhanytt; the Archmage was from the church of
Avacyn, where they had a prophecy about the end of the world. He is
unhelpful, and encourages small steps towards helping – the people
stuck in a nearby village - the town of Trostad. The archmage gives
the party an emblem similar to the one that D’William has. On the
journey, the party come across some broken armour and bodies with
signs of BOOBS. Onee human Cathar and some wolves. The Cathar has
self-inflicted wounds. There is a scream in the forest. Steig is
first to respond, drawing the attention of the mutated human.
Dhanytt does rudimentary first aid on the woman, as the wolves move
toward D’William. WWhile the wolves attempt to attack Wiliam, the
Cathar is stabilised by Dhanytt, as the party deal with the
rest.Dochas and D’William distract the wolf and try to tame it, and
ultimately succeed. Thunder-Boomer John Steig. Every day, the wolf
needs to resist the BOOBS. He has a medallion, that’s been taken
over by the BOOBS, so they replace the ward.
Session 8: As we approach Trostad, villagers and Cathars that
were surrounded by BOOB-infested horrors. There are werewolves and
vampires fighting while infested. Thunder BS is wanting into the
fight, but D’William is keeping him out of it, despite advising that
the dog will fight when he wants to. Dochas and D’William bicker
about whether to stay or leave – but Dhanytt sees that the
werewolves with BOOBS also have tarnished medallions (wards). Wolves
that aren’t infested have fully working wards. One wolf has a
red-gold hue to her ward. Lots of the creatures don’t have wards at
all, yet. Not wolf-like. Dhanytt then runs into the fray, without
saying anything. Thunder-Boomer then runs in. Thunder Boomer
attacks, but otherwise the monsters attack themselves, killing a
couple. Dochas notices the Cathar’s necklaces and knows they are
friends, recognises the Church of Avacyn. One of the Cathars wants
to attack everything. The werewolf with the different medallion
(Were Arlinn) communicates with the werewolves that they can be
saved, which seems to unionise the Cathars against the wolves. The
wolves are put to sleep, and the female becomes a humanoid called
Arlinn Kord. The Cathars recognise her in her human form. William
gets into the middle of the groups fighting while this is happening.
Grandmama Trissala, Sir Delandel’s grandmother, exists and has been
taken in by Arlinn. The Cathars feel betrayed by Arlinn’s
transformation, and think that she may be a witch. She doesn’t
resent the Cathars for their views and fear. They just don’t know
and haven’t seen what she has. She was a Cathar once, but she was
blinded by faith, then she was turned to a werewolf and had to start
her own church. She takes the outcasts from the church and gives
them refuge.Dochas tries to relate to Arlinn by relaying his lineage
and that he is from another plane, here by mistake. Because of the
relatability chat, his story gets misconstrued as a therapy session
()not his intent). Dochas questions why the religious folk are so
violent – and one of the Cathars responds that werewolves were made
inert by wearing certain medallions, but since recent events the
medallions have stopped working. Grandmama Trissala mentions that
she felt her lycantropy coming back when she met visitors from a
different plane. Her son, Sir Delandel, brought strays back to her
house. She had to leave and was taken in by Arlinn. The Cathars are
blinded by their fear. During the conversation the medallions have
dimmed and tentacles seem to be coming from underneath the skin of
C2, one of the Cathars.
Session 9: The party debates whether the thing they just saw is
an issue – Dhanytt wants to run away, same as usual, D’William and
Dochas aren’t sure if it’s a problem. D’William thinks C2 is drunk.
William relays to Grandmama that Delandel met his fate a while back.
She struggles to understand the situation, thinking that Thunder
Boomer Steig is a transformed Delandel. Dochas attempts to ask for
Grandmama’s attention, but she continues to pet Thunder Boomr, who
enjoys the attention. She is muddled, but relays a story about the
issues that C2 is having, sort of like a plague of unknown origin.
C2 is getting paranoid and black foam coming out of his mouth, and
speech impediments. When the party express their doubts of C2’s
behaviour, Arlinn stabs C2, then the party heads back home. Back at
the camp, the party are questioned by Thalia why they brought back
Cathars. Archmage sees C1 and C3, and is disappointed. There were 50
people sent, but only 2 come back. He is offended by Arlinn’s
existence. After a weird disturbance, the Archmage’s name changes to
J’Arch Burt Cena. Arlinn had not mentioned that she was a werewolf
before she was exiled, because she had to be truthful to who she was
(a werewolf). The church is very white human centric. Arlinn and
D’William are both olive, even though one is green and one is
brown-skinned, at which point she seems to have always been called
Olinn before. Need to band together to beat the deity in the sky.
Talking with Grandma, Olinn had taken them through the Ulvenwald,
looking for the fellow werewolves, but the numbers are diminishing
because they are running out of medallions. William asks about the
well transport network, and Grandma doesn’t seem to really know what
he was talking about – she does remember that Olinn mentioned other
worlds in the past. The party group huddles, with D’William carrying
Dhanytt. The party agrees to help the werewolves for the possibility
of getting to a portal and getting back home. Dochas then interrupts
the arguments between the archmage and Olinn, mentioning that the
church can’t be helped, but the party could help them find others
like them. Thalia gets involved and also tries to get Olinn to stay
in the camp – which she then does. Bert is still disappointed, and
saying that Olinn is an abomination. Bert is caught up in his old
ways, and it’s a new world – the church needs to change to
accomodate the new world in these trying times. Trissala is just
vibing. Steig christens himself The Olive Panther.
Session 10: It’s a new day. Thunder Boomer fails his save for the
day. It is revealed that the Innistrad alphabet starts with LGBTQIA+
and the alphabet starts counting at 0. Thunder can do telepathy?
Dochas tells Trissala that Dely probably died in a fight, but she’s
in denial that she’ll see him again. Olinn says that they will
resume the search for werewolves, but asks for the party to stay at
camp as werewolves are less hostile to their own folk.
Nevertheless, the party goes with the werewolves, and through the
Ulvenwald. Olinn mentions that there has been werewolf sightings –
and the party is headed to Jerich’s tower, where they are. Whilst
journeying through the Ulvenwald, Thunder Boomer is more angsty than
normal, brought on by negative thoughts, a result of failing his
save for the day.. Trissala and Olinn are moving on all fours then
surveilling every so often, similar to meerkats, pouncing on
creatures that have been Boob-ified. Eventually they revert back to
their human forms – they prefer the wereforms rather than the human
ones at this moment. Arriving at the tower, the party meets some
citizens and get vague glimpses of the librarian through the
floor-to-ceiling shelves. These shelves reaches the ceiling making
it seem highly unlikely for Dhanytt to reach the top most shelf.
Olinn mentions that her powers seemed to be dispersing as she came
to the library — same as Trissala. They would still rather be in
their werewolf form but currently there is a force stopping them
from changing.. The party notices Tamiyo who introduces herself as
the librarian, who is unlike anything the party has seen before on
Innistrad, by the way she is dressed. Dhanytt brings out a book
about a Gitrogg encounter to discuss with the librarian – and
D’William muses that he hates the Gitrogg for some reason. The
librarian is floating around the library – and is approached by
Dhanytt. They realise that they are both from other planes and far
from home. She creates visions for Dhanytt as she skims over the
words in the book like Braille, Dhanytt sees the life of the author
shown in flashes of images. Finds a ‘This book is the property of
Wilbur – and it seems like it was written by a 4 year old. Tamiyo is
introduced to the rest of the party and mentions the people don’t
seem to belong here. BOOBS in Thunder Boomer seems to be curing
itself just from being in the tower. Tamiyo informs the party that
she had cast a spell as a preventative measure, so the effects of
what’s happening outside is nullified. Some permanent residents of
the tower were not treated kindly in the outside world and seeked
shelter in the tower. They became the form they wanted to be most –
werewolf or human. Thunder Boomer’s best self is dead and if he
stays in the tower he’ll die. Thunder Boomer is released by the
party to terrorise some other village on the outside of the tower.
Spend a couple of hours with Tamiyo broadcasting images in the
party’s minds – author of the Gritrog book is Eloise Geth III.
Tamiiyo is from the plane Kamigawa – there’s a university there, but
she informs Dhanytt that if he wants to pursue a life of a scholar,
he’ll need to go to the academy on Strixhaven. She provides an aura
of sanity to the party. Tamiyo has noticed something odd about the
moon on this plaine -- encounter a few centuries ago and a prison
was made from moonshard. One of the shards had fallen and been used
as a prison. What can’t be killed must be bound. Dhanytt needs to
figure out the moonshard. Dochas asks about moonshard samples, and
Tamiyo goes to another book. She shows the picture of the Helvault
(William and Dochas would know, Dhanytt would not). Dochas asks
about whether people would know what was in the moon, or who would
have been trapped there. The party recalls the story off the Helvault
– Griselbrand and Avacyn had a fight and Griselbrand was imprisoned,
not before he pulled Avacyn into the Helvault as well. After time,
there was a crack in the helvault and many creatures left including
Avacyn. But during the time in the Helvault, she had made a friend,
and since she had escaped the Helvault. her friend has been trying
to get in communication with her ever since. Helvault has already
been shattered.
Session 11: Tamiyo casts a sanity spell that protects Dhanytt has all the books. Also Bruna and Gisela’s purified brains. He doesn’t know how they got there. Tamiyo picks up books from all over the room. Dochas was the only one understanding and listening, so he explains the lore to the party that the others were not listening to. Dhanytt needed the whole entire story explained to him, and understood 3/20 percent. The Helvault IS the baby moon, and the Helvault imprisons things. Maybe the moon will imprison things too. Why do we want to put the jail in jail? Put the mushroom in the sky in the pinata. “I understand everything,” says Dhanytt. How do we get the mushroom in the moon? We see imagery of the fight between Griselbrand and Avacyn – she wasn’t necessarily close to the Helvault when she imprisoned the mushroom. “Let’s head towards the moon, says Dhanytt, and he just stands there jumping. Tamiyo hands Dhanytt a book, from pretty far up the shelves – the book is ragged, it has blue and white cover with a purple ribbon bookmark. Dhanytt recognises the book — as though it’s something that he’s seen before (Jenrik’s Journal). It contains the imprisonment spell. You read the book and chant the words. Dochas asks D’William to knock him out to get to night-time when the spell can be cast more quickly. Do9chas finds ‘The Complete History of Vampires and Werewolves on Innistrad and Other Interesting Facts Volume 1’. It’s 14 big. Dhanytt finds ‘A Complete Guide to Churches and Angels, Volume 2’. It’s 16 big. William finds ‘A Book on Fairies’. It’s 14 big. Dhanytt tries and fails to hit Dochas, but D’William succeeds, and Dochas is knocked out. D’William stares at a wall, and Dhanytt reads the spell. Dochas wakes up and the party go to cast the spell. Dochas heads tro the door that at first just seems like a piece of wall, then goes up then down the stairs. He complains that the world is changing around him. The mushroom seems to be growing larger and smaller based on the party’s current level of attention as well.#AttentionToDetail.As the party heads away from the tower, Trissala and Orlinn feel lycanthropy coming back. End up back at Drownyard temple. The mushroom needs boobs. As the party moves closer to the Drownyard temple, the party lose sight of each other and the background of the drownyard temple fades away as well. Jagged rocks protruding in a ring. In the middle, Emrakul with tentacles hanging down and branching out. Can make out through the mist that there are ominous tentacles reaching into the shores. Grossly disfigured humans with amplified BOOBS, where the mutation is a lot worse than before. See the surrounding environment taking more ominous demeanour. The humans have been BOOBified so that the outside is no longer ooze-like, but more like armour. Emrakul is groaning, resonates against the waters, looking into the distance with her eye stalk, and not specifically at the party. D’William says he was here once, but states he was lying even though the party thinks he was telling the truth (he wasn’t). The plan is devised where the party will be split with some fighting the God and some reading the book. The party plays All Star by Smash Mouth as a preemptive funeral for all of them.
Session 12: The party considers its options – looking at the
several BOOBS-infected mutants and Emrakul in the waters of the
Drownyard Temple. The party are hidden, so they are ignored as they
toast each other saying that this may be the end for them. Dochas
suggests that OIlinn and Trissala, who are distracted by trying not
to turn into a werewolf, give in to the temptation and turn, as it
may be useful. The plan the party converges on is that the
werewolves will distract the BOOBS infected individuals while the
party move towards Emrakul, with Dhanytt and D’William trying to
distract Emrakul, while Dochas reads the spell from the book.
Emrakul’s eyestalk is scanning the area, but not looking for the
party – just … something? Dochas’ first attempt, with help from the
party, fails and draws Emrakul’s attention to D’William. He is
heavily damaged, but the spell is read again by Dochas,
successfully. The party is transported to a library somehow, in
white light. They meet an angel, EWmeria, at a table in the library.
She is waiting for something. The party approach and chat – she is
waiting for her brothers and friends to come back to the library –
they discuss Avacyn her similarity to the mushroom form of Emrakul.
Dhanytt reads the book of Emeria’s memories, confused by how the
party has arrived in the library after reading a bedtime story to a
mushroom. Nobody knows the way out, and Emeria wants the party to
stay and keep her company. The party think they might be able
to send Nahiri and Garele to the library to keep Emeria, but the
party can’t figure out how to get out of the library, or add anyone
in. Dhanytt and Wwilliam look up at the roofless tower, seeing a
forecfield above and meteorites hitting and smashing into the
forcefield. Disspiating in orange light. This is an illusion,
as are the shelves, furnishings and walls. Something not quite
correct about these. The closer the party looks, it’s more like a
perception of a chair, rather than an actual chair. Emeria gets a
book and tries to tell stories of her memories, but to Dhanytt the
book looks to be blank. Dhanytt decides that he can make new
memories for Emeria by drawing them in the book, which exasperates
Emeria – Dhanytt writes ‘Emeria sends Dhanytt, D’William and Dochas
home, and they all lived happily ever after’. He draws stick
figured. As Emeria continues to attempt to get Dhanytt to stop
drawinhg in the book, Dhanytt misunderstands, and adds stick figures
to the drawings that are more specific to Emeria – Avacyn, the other
Eldrazi, etc. Dhanytt thinks he is drawing the actual future and
that Emeria is seeing what her future will actually be like. Emeria
rejects Dhanytt’s projected future. She finally tells the story of
her brothers dominated the plane of Geth, their ceaseless hunger had
consumed all life forms on the plane. Dhanytt suggests titles for
the book – ‘My World Domination’, and ‘Emeria’s Happy Fun Memories’.
Dhanytt gfoes off to find another book, but is stopped by Emeria
flying over to him and picking him up then taking him back to the
chair. She gives Dhanytt some scrap paper instead of a book she had
used. ‘The Start of A New Book’, he calls it, then writes more
stories for Emeria. Four hours of storytelling later, she stops
Dhanytt. She mentions that the tower is modelled on where her friend
used to live –n she had peeked into her friend’s mind and created
the tower as an image of what she once saw. Dhanytt suggests he go
back and add the friend into all of her stories. Avacyn, that was
with her during her imprisonment in the Helvault. Emeria gets
another book, which is not quite finished, and she doesn’t know how
the book will end. Dhanytt suggests an ending – and D’William by
this point has fallen asleep. The book turns into a checkerboard
once open, where the pieces are divided along ‘friend’ and ‘foe’
lines. On the players’ side there are Dhanytt, Dochas, D'William,
Alfred, J’Arch “Bert” Cena, K’John Cena Stromkirk, Thalia, and
Olinn. Emeria’s side contains a BOOBS-infected creature, Emeria
herself, amongst others. Eventually, the party manages to beat
Emeria at the checkers, signifying the victory of the party in this
realm. Emeria is sad that this will mean the party leaves, but they
try to suggest bringing more friends for her. Dochas reads the spell
again, and the party is teleported back out of the moon, including
D’William who wanted to stay. The large Emrakul willingly goes into
the moon, telepathically saying to the party ‘it was fun to play
with you guys.’ The infected individuals all die, leaving corpses
instead of the virus-infected individuals. The party recovers from
the recent events, and realise that they each still have their
che3cker pieces. Too much power for any of the party to handle. They
are then teleported again, out of Innistrad and into Outerstrad.
Stranded on a beach, in the plane of Ixalan. A ship sails past and a
voice yells down at the party, while they are still disoriented. A
raspy, female voice. An olive-skinned Gorgon. She says “I was
wondering when I’d see you next, Dhanytt.”
